Exhibition/Expo  Paul Dogbe1.Paul Dogbe2.Paul Dogbe3.Paul Dogbe4. Ghana . Artistes

Born in 1973, Paul's gift as an artist was discovered at Achimota primary school, where he painted to the admiration of all who came into contact with him. Primarily a self-taught artist, Paul diverted from his fathers strict direction of pursuing a conventional career in medicine and followed his passion for art.

Without any University Education, Paul tends to baffle everyone with his themes and ideologies, but he confesses that his talent is a gift handed to him by his creator. He has since improved on his style representing all the stylistic schools of modern art. He seriously works on canvas using a palette knife as a tool for innovative pictures and a brush for serenity.

He has engaged in many exhibitions and award winning art competitions in the Sub-Saharan regions, the US and Europe, but his last exhibition sponsored by professor Fortunato Ceraso, at the Italian Cultural Institute (Ghana) in 1993 really propelled him to the top.

Inspiration for his work derives from his love for the evergreen forest, land and seascape intertwined with indigenous African Culture, music, dance and the everyday African beliefs in superstition.

His paintings can be traced in Offices, Hotels and many homes in Ghana and abroad.
