Stephen Kodjo Crentsil was born in Accra ( Ghana ). At a very early age, he picked up the Art.He started painting while he was in school and developped it to be a full artist.After school, his inspirition changed, he left painting to carve wood.

_" I realize i had this talent in me which i have to developp.It just came when i picked up a piece of wood.I never learnt to carve, it's a self taught work coming from above.""

HIs carvings are typical african art, all in ebony..

_" It's one of the most durable and tuffest wood.It's a very strong wood that the Lord gives me to carve, it has a strong spiritual value, it's only with inspiration that you can work with it."

His wish is to make an exhibition one day, he's still looking for the opportunity to do it.
